AITM affirms that God has provided absolute truth in Scripture which is sufficient for life change according to 2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Peter 1:3.
Glorification of Jesus Christ
AITM believes that Jesus Christ is the standard and center of all things. Philippians 3:7-14; Colossians 1:17; 3:1-17
AITM believes that God is the Creator of everything in Heaven and earth and the standard for truth. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and unchanging. God’s purpose is fulfilled through the obedience of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:28-29; Ephesians 4:20-24
Qualified Teaching Faculty
AITM faculty members come from diverse backgrounds and ministry experiences flowing in the five-fold ministries according to Ephesians 4:11.
AITM prepares those who desire to serve God to fulfill their life goals as they impact society for Jesus Christ. Acts 17:22-24; 1 Corinthians 9: 20-22
AITM acknowledges that all of mankind is in need of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by faith. To fulfill that mission, AITM commits to prepare students to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the five-fold ministries to evangelize, make disciples, raise church leaders and ordain pastors for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Matthew 28:18-20; John 3:16-21; Romans 1:16-17; 2 Timothy 2:1-2
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in the one ever-living, eternal God: infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose; and possessing absolute, indivisible deity. This one true God has revealed Himself as Father, through His Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin; that he lived a sinless life, was crucified on Calvary for our sins, and bodily rose from the grave; and that he has been exalted to the throne of God where He is the only mediator between God and man. We believe that through his death and life we have personal salvation and power for victorious living.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:4-8; Acts 2:4. We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in Christians and expresses Himself through the nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit according to 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a divine revelation from God to man. We accept the Scriptures as the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
We believe that all men have sinned and stand in need of redemption which is obtained through repenting of our sins and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
We believe the Church has been “called out” of the world to be a habitation of God through the Holy Spirit. As the Body of Christ on earth, the church offers hope to mankind. The church is one body made up of many members, diverse in their gifts and calling of the Holy Spirit.
